The economy slowed down and many got laid off. Salaries were cut to half and so did the budgets come crumbling down.Chain effect we may call,no money meant no purchasing power of course the inventories were looking so good on the shelf now with nobody to buy.
Last few months the trends changed.Salaries zoomed and so did the economy .The reverse happened and smiles flashed all around.
Having spent number of years in the corporate when I see them offering funtastic packages (of course to let them have all the fun now) its a rethink on where are we going.Excess money would always give rise to inflation and who else will suffer but the common man. Luxury word would continue to be used for now a necessity.Definitions would be misinterpreted anyway.
The teacher who produces a mind who starts with an earning of a surplus also deserves to have a beautiful home and so his aspirations grow and so begins the vicious cycle .Education becomes expensive.
Who suffers the most ,but the common man who in economic parlance can be called the middle class.
No I am no economist but a common man who thinks from a perception which may or may not improve my living but at least I can make a fervent plea. Have mercy on me or I will perish without a whimper.
This is just one aspect, think about many which may wake you up from the deep slumber you are in my friend.
